Hello everyone, I'm Puyu, just an ordinary college student. The beginning of this story might sound a bit mundane. One day, while browsing online, I stumbled upon personalized pet stamps. Being a proud owner of two cats and a dog, I decided to customize stamps featuring their photos. However, upon receiving the products, I was disappointed by the lack of clarity – my two similar-looking cats ended up resembling Matt Damon more than Henry Cavill and Matt Bomer (no offense to Matt Damon, I still love you!).
Following the cliché route, I explored numerous stamp factories, visited their facilities, and observed their production processes. I discovered that most shared similar techniques, yielding stamps of average quality that couldn't capture the high-definition essence of a picture. Digging deeper online, I found a different technology from another field that, when applied to stamps, could achieve perfection. I took the plunge, contacted my suppliers, purchased the necessary equipment, and embarked on a journey of testing – endless testing. Finally, after numerous trials, I settled on our first product ;)
That marked the beginning of my venture into pet stamps. I invited classmates to share pictures of their pets, offering to create custom stamps for free. This small initiative quickly gained traction, with people eagerly submitting photos of their beloved pets. I honed my photo-editing skills to perfection, tackling even the most challenging pet portraits. With the growing influx of suggestions, the pet stamps evolved continuously, from size and casing design to ink type and quantity. Each adjustment was informed by valuable user feedback. Throughout this journey, I crossed paths with a talented girl majoring in art and design, now my current girlfriend. She contributes her artistic skills to our work. Since meeting her, we've added two more cats to our family, bringing the total to four cats and one dog! (They get along harmoniously, despite occasional skirmishes and chases.)
Later on, I launched my Etsy store, where more people have come to appreciate my stamps! It warms my heart to hear customers describe the stamps as amazing. People appreciate this simple and authentic way of capturing precious moments with their pets through stamps. It brings me great joy knowing that my pet stamps have become a part of everyone's lives, carrying genuine emotions and beautiful memories.
